Whitaker Tank Knitting Pattern Download
My Quince obsession continues. Kestrel's beautiful texture and the open design of the sides make the Whitaker Tank a unique and versatile piece that can be used as layer to achieve different looks. The Whitaker Tank is the perfect layering piece to take you from Spring to Fall. My goal in writing patterns is to bring on-trend and current design elements into our knitting realm. If I would wear it, I will write it.
Sizes Available: 33.5 (36, 38.5, 41, 44)" [ 85 (91.5, 98, 104, 112) cm] low bust OR about 9-10" below underarm. * Adjustments can be made by customizing the length of side straps. Suggested Fit: 2-4" positive ease Shown in size 36 with 2.5" positive ease

100% Organic Linen: 76yds (155m)/50g
6 (6, 7, 8, 8) skeins Porpoise
Needles:
- 24" circular needles in size US 9 (5.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- 32" or 40" circular needles in size US 9 (5.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
This is knit as separate front and back pieces, seamed at the shoulders and then blocked. The straps are knit separately and applied after blocking. This tank has a dropped armhole so that it can be layered over various tops. This top was designed for a petite to average height person. It may appear slightly cropped in the photos of me wearing it and that is due to my height (5'9").
