Venice: Superwash Polwarth Wool Yarn
Along with its smoothness, New Zealand Polwarth Wool is known for its strength. It has a crispness that lends itself to exceptional stitch definition and durability. These sheep were bred by crossing the Merino (soft/smooth) with the Lincoln (strength) for the rugged terrain of Australia and New Zealand. Another wonderful quality of this yarn is its subtle natural luster- a bit of sheen. Perfect for socks, this particular wool accepts dye readily and produces very vibrant colors.
